The design of this Vostok Europe collection draws its inspiration from the periodic table of chemical elements - also known as Systema Periodicum in Latin. It is a seminal construct in modern chemistry, revered equally in physics and various scientific disciplines.

Created in 1869, it organizes all 118 elements known today and describes properties of new, yet undiscovered chemical elements, making it one of the most remarkable achievements in the field of science.

Each model in the Systema Periodicum collection is a unique tribute to a specific chemical element. The back of the case contains a description of the element (in English), accompanied by its element symbol and chemical metrics.

The scientific heritage of this model series is reflected in a synthesis of elegance and intellectual rigor. Or in other words, the connection between artistry and the fundamental elements that shape our understanding of the physical world.

What should be highlighted is the special “Bullhead” housing design. The crown is set at 12h, the chronograph pushers are next to it. This arrangement makes the chronograph and the crown easier to use and the hand has to be twisted less. The back cover also offers a technical sophistication: it is not kept flat as usual, but rather asymmetrical / slightly curved. This increases wearing comfort and makes it easier to read the time.
